The Gear Oil Exchange System was initially developed for wind turbine gearbox maintenance, but other industries benefit from the large tank sizes, longer hose lengths, filtration and heating systems.
The Sage Oil Vac System can deliver ISO 320 viscosity grade gear oil at a rate of 4-6 gallons (15-22 liters) per minute.*
The Sage Oil Vac System can vacuum gear oil directly from the tower gearbox at a rate of 2-4 gallons (8-15 liters) per minute.*
*Actual delivery and suction times depend on factors affecting viscosity, such as oil temperature and ambient temperatures.
Using the Gear Oil Exchange System allows for a completely enclosed oil exchange process. Hoses are connected directly to the gearbox to prevent leaks and spills. By creating a vacuum in the new oil tank, fresh oil is vacuumed directly from a barrel or tote to reduce contamination or spills.
Available in skid, open trailer or enclosed trailer configurations, the Gear Oil Exchange System features 2, 3, or 4 tanks, depending on requirements.
