All Sage Oil Vac products are operated with our patented vacuum and pressure process. An electric or diesel-powered air compressor is used to create vacuum in the used oil tank. With the Dipstick Tube Kit, used oil is vacuumed directly from the engine. Oil can also be drained into a 10 or 17 gallon drain and vacuumed into the used oil tank from the drain pan. Next, the new fluid tank is pressurized to refill the engine with new oil. Sage Oil Vac recommends the following products and accessories for those starting a mobile oil change business.
Lube Trailers
All Sage Oil Vac models come standard with our Used Filter Receptacle which allows used filters to be stored upside down in a weather-tight box. The used oil that collects in the receptacle can be vacuumed in to the used oil tank.
The Barrel Straw is standard with all models and is used to vacuum new fluids into the new fluid tank(s). The Barrel Straw eliminates the need to mess with bottles or jugs and allows the user to purchase bulk oil from a distributor. A newly designed control panel is now standard on all skid units and allows for easy operation.
The Dipstick Tube Kit includes different diameter and length dipstick tubes (including the Mercedes adapter). Warm motor oil is vacuumed at a rate up to 1 qt every 2 minutes.
Sage Oil Vac offers 2 drain pans for collecting used oil. The 10 gallon and 17 gallon drain pans feature a fitting that connects to the used oil hose. Accumulated oil is vacuumed directly into the waste tank to prevent spills and injuries.
